By the time children reach the elementary years their “personalities” are in full swing. Self-control, socialization, selfishness and puberty are among the normal challenges of this age group. Discipleship becomes a primary need. Our desire is to assist parents in the application of the cross to their child’s life through Sunday school, children’s church, Awana and specialized family events.
Children’s Church
During second hour services, your child will experience a combination of children’s choir and children’s church. There is an opportunity to worship the Lord through singing, service, and knowledge. Worship at CBC is not just about singing, but all aspects of our lives. Worship is not a performance. In children’s church your children are lead through the different aspects of a church service, kids style. That includes, prayer, teaching from God’s word, and lively interactive discussions. We also have activity time to keep them engaged.
