Video games, vampires, and social networking are no doubt among the topics of your everyday discussion. Right now it may be one issue, and by next month another fad will sweep across the country. Approaching these metamorphic fads with a Biblical worldview is the proper response. After all, Paul tells us in Ephesians 4:12-14 to be mature men and women so that when different doctrines grab our ears we respond in light of what God’s Word teaches.
The application of a Biblical worldview, in your life, has a variety of approaches. There is one thing, however, that must be maintained in every approach. That is an attempt to accomplish Christlikeness in our own lives and train others to do the same. It is the practical out playing of the great commission to Go, Preach, and Disciple, or train to do the same. While methods and applications differ, there remains one objective to spiritually reproduce ourselves in a culture that counters our gospel.
